Team Bake It Pretty would like to wish you and yours a most delightful Thanksgiving Day!  If you’ve happened to wander to the computer in a post-turkey comatose state, here are a few giveaway and goings ons to peruse!

Head on over to the Prudent Baby Blog for a dose of crafts, recipes, and a fantastic giveaway!  I couldn’t agree more with their statement about ornately decorated sugar cookies: “-They are tedious. They are time-consuming. They are temperamental. But with that said, they are totally addictive to make and there is nothing quite like the delight on a toddler’s face when you hand them an edible work-of-art. People, I’m here to confess, I dream about decorating sugar cookies.”

There’s a buffet veritable buffet of giveaways going on over at Bake & Destroy for the Holidays, and you gotta get in on it!  Too many high-profile artists and shopkeepers to mention:  Jenny’s Bake Shop ,  Circa Ceramics , Caged Tomato , and *ahem*, Bake It Pretty is donating a gift card, too.  Leave it to Natalie to be ostentatiously generous with the freebies this year – what a doll!  Also be sure to visit the Bake & destroy Shop on Black Friday, becasue it looks like there will be a killer T-shirt and hoodie sale going on!

I’m always excited to see crafty folks using candy molds and baking supplies for art projects instead of cooking.  Rachel of Morning Sun Rae (an Asheville local!) was kind enough to share these lovely beeswax ornaments her family made using some of our cute candy molds.  There’s lots of crafty goodness going on over there, so do stop in and say hello!  There’s also mention of a giveaway in the works to, so look out for that…
