Cupcake Necklace Giveaway

We were at a local festival a few weeks ago when I spotted these charming cupcake necklaces.  Actually, Mike spotted them first and surprised me with one for mother’s day!  I liked mine so much, I had to go back and purchase another one to giveaway at the Bake It Pretty blog.  I mean look at it, it’s just so perfect!  A nice sized charm with a lovely, complimentary silver chain.  I get so many compliments when I wear mine, and it really brightens my day.

This handmade glass jewelry is created by Lori Flanders of Isabel’s Rose, a talented artist based in Raleigh, NC.  Be sure to visit her website and browse all of the fun and clever jewelry she has to offer.  Naturally, the cupcakes caught my eye first, but I’m also pretty smitten with the birds and mushrooms, too.

If you’d like a chance to win the pretty, little pink cupcake necklace shown here please leave a comment in this post and let us know your thoughts on the whole “cupcake craze” debate.  Do you think it’s a just a passing fad, or is The Cupcake here to stay?   This giveaway is for US locations only and comments will close on June 2nd. Good luck, everyone!

***Special Offer just added!  All cupcakes in the etsy store will be $25 instead of $30 for Bake It Pretty readers through June 2nd! Just mention Bake it Pretty in the comments to seller at checkout & you’ll get a refund through paypal.  Sweet!  Thanks, Lori. ***

There are so many options with cupcakes, and you can make them cute in so many different ways–frosting, little candies, and what it’s wrapped in. And they’re a one-person thang, easier to take to a gathering than a cake, where you have to cut individual pieces for everyone.

  14. Anita Says:

The cupcakes are here to stay but maybe not quite as popular as they are now. I mean it is everything cupcakes ~ even jewelry. That might not always be but the cupcakes themselves ~ yes they are here to stay.

  160. Kara Says:

How darling! I love it! And YES – cupcakes are here to stay! How can something so versatile and FUN be just a craze? :)

  161. Lisa Says:

Cupcakes may all taste good (and pretty much the same), but what keeps the craze going is how unique and creative people and get with their cupcakes!

  162. Maree Sperle Says:

    Love the cupcake necklace!!!

  163. Jessica Says:

I agree with most on here – cupcakes are VERY popular and will remain quite popular in the future. I tend to believe that one of the many attributes to using cupcakes is how CLEAN they are. If you use cupcakes at a child’s party, you have less clean up than with traditional cake! Plus you can make each cupcake reflect the personality of each child & they love it! For this one simple fact – I believe that cupcakes are here to stay!

  164. Meghan @ Domestic Sugar Says:

I totally think this is here to stay. Cupcakes are WAY cuter than a cake, and easier for people to make.

It is easier to make cupcakes for your children than a beautiful cake.

    Totally here to stay!

  165. Scarlet Says:

There’s no way that cupcakes could disappear entirely, but they might faze in and out of popularity. Even though they’re super cute, and people will always love them, they might go on the back burner for a while if some new fad pops up.

For a lot of people (including me), cupcakes are just simple cute & VERYYYYY enjoyable desserts, but I find there are some people who are a bit snobby about it. Boo!!! Lets keep it simple and fun :D

  168. Melissa Zangger Says:
