How do I purchase items from this website? Is there a minimum order requirement?

  • Shopping with us is easy. Use the "add to cart" buttons to add items to your cart, then follow the instructions to complete payment. If an item is only available to add to your wish list, then it is temporarily out of stock.
  • We accept major credit cards as well as Paypal Express payments. Checkout is safe and secure, and your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.
  • There are no minimums - purchase as much or as little as you like!
  • We're a web-based business, so you gotta place all orders through our website. We do not accept personal checks or money orders, or phone orders.


What are your shipping policies? When will my package arrive?

  • US orders ship for a flat rate of $7.95. We process and ship orders in 48 hours (usually 24 hours or less). Transit times average 2-5 business days. Please do not include weekends or holidays when calculating when your package will arrive.  Most packages are sent via USPS, some items may be sent by UPS.
  • Express 2-3 day delivery options are available and custom quotes are visible during checkout.  US Express Mail orders are shipped same-day if placed before 11am MST, next day if placed after 11am MST. Packages are guaranteed by the USPS to arrive 2 to 3 business days from shipment date. Please be aware of time zone differences, and do not include weekends or holidays when calculating when your package will arrive. If your package doesn't arrive in time and it's our fault, we will issue a refund. We are NOT responsible for errors from the US Postal Service. You will need to contact them for a shipping refund. 
  • USPS mail delivers Monday through Saturday, excluding Federal holidays. Deliveries to PO boxes and APO/FPO boxes are OK.
  • Local pick up is free of charge. Orders can be picked up at 196 Sugar Street #4 in Layton, Utah.
  • Tracking and insurance are included with all US orders. An email will be sent when your order has shipped, and you can check your order status anytime by logging into your Bake It Pretty account. Tracking numbers are NOT automatically sent out for most orders. Please leave a note with your order or email us if you would like your tracking number, we are happy to email it to you - shop@bakeitpretty.com
  • Lost or missing packages, though rare, will need to be reported and investigated through USPS and before a refund can be processed. We cannot re-ship orders due to USPS loss or theft.

Do you offer International Shipping?

  • International USPS Mail shipping rates begin at $25. We do not charge handling fees. Canadian shipping rates begin at $7.95 and go up based on weight
  • International and Canadian orders are shipped within 48 hours via USPS Mail. Transit times average 2 weeks. Shipping transit times vary widely by country and are not guaranteed.
  • The purchaser is responsible for any and all additional fees, duties, taxes, associated with orders shipped outside of the continental USA. We are required by law to fill out customs forms accurately, we will not label any packages as "gift." The purchaser must be knowledgeable of country-specific import regulations, we are not responsible for fees/damages associated with any noncompliance.
  • Please be sure the shipping address entered is correct. Packages returned to us by USPS and marked "unclaimed" or "undeliverable" due to customer error will NOT be re-shipped. In these cases the original purchase price, less any shipping charges, will be promptly refunded.

Can you tell me when a certain item will be back in stock?  I'm looking for something but I can't find it on the site?

Can I add-to or change an order I already placed?

  • Sure thing, we can help you adjust your order as long as it has not been packed and shipped already. We are pretty quick around here, so if you need to change, add-to, or cancel an existing order please contact us tout de suite!  shop@bakeitpretty.com


How will my baking cups look after I bake cupcakes in them? I made cupcakes and the liners pulled away from the cake, or the colors faded, what did I do wrong?

  • Some liners bake up wonderfully, some do not.  We choose to offer them all, even the ones that fade, because there are lots of things you can do with baking cups besides bake with them (crafting, dessert displays, etc.) and we like to have a great selection.   Since there are many different factors that can affect a baking cup's performance: batter types, humidity, cooling and storage, oven type, baking temperatures, and more, we cannot guarantee the performance of any disposable baking liners. Don't worry, they generally work just fine, and we always appreciate customer feedback on this subject!
  • We do recommend testing your liners before a special event to ensure you're happy with the results after baking.
  • As always, if you have any questions feel free to send us an email. We've tested all of the baking cups we carry and we'd be happy to help you find the perfect liners for your cupcakes.


Where can I get some sweet coupons and sale information?

  • We are sneaky with the sales sometimes!  There is usually some kind of special deal going on, and the best way to get hip is to join our newsletter, like our facebook page, and follow us on twitter.  If you have an account with us, login and look for the YUM.  (Everyone loves a treasure hunt, right?)


Will you mail me a printed catalog?

  • No way, we will never have printed catalogs! To keep our shop fresh and exciting, we are constantly adding new products and our inventory is always changing. Visiting our website will always be the best way to see all of the great, new goods we have to offer.  By the time a catalog was created, printed, and sent to you, it would be old-news. Not cool.


Why can’t I checkout?  I can’t seem to get to the payment page, what gives?

  • Blerg. Technology. Rarely, if an item sells out while it’s still in your cart, the system will not let you progresses through checkout.  We’re working to fix this issue – sorry!  The best thing to do is empty your cart and re-add the items in to find out what had sold out.  Also, deleting your browser cookies (temporary files) will usually fix the problem. We hate to lose your order over an annoying computer glitch – email us if you have any questions and we’ll do our best to help!


Will you send products samples for review or media coverage?  Would you be interested in advertising with our blog/magazine/publication?

  • We no longer send out sample products, to anyoneYes, that includes celebrities and big, fancy magazines.  Why?  Because we value our awesome customers just as much (OK, a lot more,) than magazine editors and review bloggers.  We figured, if we can't send free stuff to everyone, it's simply not fair just to cater to the “big-guys.”  It was an easy decision, really.  This also means that, as of now, if you see Bake It Pretty out-and-about on the web or in print, it's because that person or website really wanted to feature us - not because they got free stuff or because we have an advertising relationship with them.  This kind of honest feedback makes us feel all squishy inside.  We live for it :)
  • We are happy to email high-res images of any items you'd like to share or feature in your magazine, blog, etc.  We're happy to help - just ask!
  • If you choose to order products from us, and you love them, and you want to tell the world - sweet!  We so appreciate it.  You are the wind beneath our wings.


How will my items be wrapped?

  • Most goodies will arrive attractively packaged in a baking box, sealed with a ribbon and our signature Bake It Pretty stickers. Larger items that don't fit in our baking boxes but will be wrapped with care in order to arrive safely. We love it when you give Bake It Pretty supplies to your family and friends to celebrated holidays and birthdays (or just because). If your items are a gift for someone, please leave a comment if you would like us to include a note or leave out the packing invoice.


What about returns or exchanges?

  • We accept returns and will issue a store credit to your account, minus the cost of shipping, once the items reach our warehouse. We DO NOT charge a restocking fee, but you are responsible for the cost of re-shipping the items to us.
  • FYI - we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on edible and perishable items.  No explanation needed there, I'm sure. 
  • If an order is damaged or incorrect, we'll take care of it ASAP, on our dime. Of course!
  • There's never a problem we can't fix.  Since every situation is different, feel free to contact us with any issues you may have and we'll be happy to help find a solution. We want you to be happy, it's that simple!
